There is multiple things I see each week that I feel are a result of lazy officiating.

For example kicking for touch on the mark, kicking for conversion not aligned to the grounding of the ball and my most hated which is resetting a tap kick after a player took a quick tap with a player Infront - pretty sure that was a scrum to the other side once upon a time.

Pretty sure the last one was a penalty for offside once a upon a time.

Current Laws of the game from nrl.com say

20m Re- start Penalty Any deliberate offence at the 20m re-start by either team shall incur a penalty to be awarded at the centre of the 20m line. Section 8 - The Kick off and Drop-Out, Law 2 (c) Any deliberate offence at the 20m re-start by either team shall incur a penalty to be awarded at the centre of the 20m line, except where the defending team is offside. From an offside infringement at a 20m restart, the penalty will be awarded opposite where the infringement occurred on the 30m line

watched it this morning and paused at point of contact. he's run across corridors and contact is made in front of two other WT defenders.

What line is he actually running?

A block which is illegal.

This is absolutely correct but again, this is next to impossible to govern. I don't have an answer but perhaps the game has to be like NFL and have black and white rules which are adhered to. So many rules are sacrificed in the name of speeding the game up. If they just adjudicate the rules as written maybe it's easier to address coach cheating.

Should have been a penalty to the Tigers, Holmes was over the line when he kicked off. That is a definite rule, you cannot be in the oppositions half when you kick off.
a clear cut Tigers penalty.
