hes missed out on the world cup squad, always said he wants to play league, should we make a move to sign him. Doesnt affect our salary cap. Only thing is he reminds me of Unions version of lance Hohaia attitude wise

Just saw the squad and was a bit surprised that he missed the cut.

Now, just thinking about it, maybe.

Piri would be the man, but I wouldn't predict a move straight away. Since Byron Kelleher is moving overseas, Piri's likely to remain the mix at the all blacks imo.

True, but the World Cup is a major drawcard for the players, and he has to wait four more years for an opportunity.

The reconditionning program may've done his chances in.

He hasn't been playing too much, and when he has played, he's been pretty poor.

Weepu is known for having a crisp pass, but in 2007 his pass has been Justin Marshall-slow.

His big Uncle Billy should take him behind the dressing sheds and box his ears for
playing that bloody game in the first place.

I'd take him for sure.

nothing wrong with smalldumps, make a great partner for JRo in the centers and he has always said his heart lies with league.

This doesn't really relate to Warriors, but saw Weepus name so will post it here, feel free to delete if you wish

Big rumours that Manly have pretty much signed a Rugby Player

Billy Weepu played for Manly, Non'u is Afamasagas cuz and Gerrard used to play for them before switching to rugby

Didn't Weepu do a bit of pre-season training with the Newcastle Knights this year as well?

Maybe the Lions should sign him for the rest of the year.

I'd rather have Nonu before Weepu. We seem to lack good centres and I'm not sure Weepu would instantaneously be a great playmaker.

Not sure, still not convinced that he'll be great in the halves and as it is the Warriors have a fair few opions at dummy half and he would not come cheap!
