Everyone has probably heard about this in the news, could just be a bunch of crap.

I was thinking though, if they did move to Qld in 2015 would there be a chance we could snatch back Fifita?

Was the first thought that came into my head when I heard the news hahaha

WT have off field issues too with a fractured board and money troubles. If they punt one struggling/disgraced team with a small territory interstate then they would probably punt a 2nd struggling/fractured/no true homeground team. Wests Tigers playing out of Perth and Rockampton Sahrks. I hope they have some competitive interstate membership packages.

Won't happen and would never happen.

The NRL have said many times over that no clubs will be relocated or kicked out of the comp.

The TV rights deal prevents it and the game can't afford to break that deal.

It was Sheen's who he clashed with,he wasn't in the Sheen's boys club, that is now only 1 strong, and Moltz is no cert to be here in 2014 let alone 2015,so it would be well worth pursuing,as he still has mates here.

Made up story by hack gossip 'journalists' at a newspaper known for its lies. Nothing to see here!

Whilst I think this possible threat of relocation story is nothing, I do think that another two Sydney based teams need to relocate to other states to grow the game and bring to back to where it was, in terms of locations, in the days of the unfortunate super-league wars. Perth, Adelaide and a second QLD regional team.

Edit- trouble is who? Everyone says not me.

The only relocation that could work is Dragons to Wollongong.

No other relocation option will work, especially interstate. This talk of reducing the number of Sydney teams is pish. The largest city in this country can sustain a measley 9 teams. Melbourne manages to cope quite well with the same number of afl teams in a smaller area, with a smaller population & a code that requires more players per squad.

Its time nrl clubs learnt how to run their clubs properly for a change.

This.

Sydney is fine, it is well covered with nrl teams and won't be losing any.

Fifita won't come back he loves the Sharks, they've got a great culture at the club, more of a family than anything. He said he was relieved to leave the Tigers cos of the toxic culture they had.

Will be interesting when Fifta has to deal with Timmy again.

Lucky for Timmy any bloke who pulls on a roo jersey will do his best, so he will make Timmy look good as will the others.

If you were going to start again from the beginning, you would probably aim to have teams in the "cities." That would be a team each in Canturbury, Parramatta, Penrith and Liverpool and perhaps two that represent the inner city. Thats where the major population areas are.
Then obviously central coast, Newcastle and Canberra would round out NSW.

Its got nothing to do with geography as it does TV Viewers and juniors. You will find the Sharks are near the bottom of the pack in both irrespective if the win the comp.

Do you see them on many Friday night games? Also how many juniors playing 1st Grade. All the NRL has to do is fine them $2m ala Essendon and let the crumbs fall where they may. The NRL cant be seen to pay the fine as it would implicate themselves so the club will fold. Relocation Package Anyone??
