Its got everything to do with the tv rights deal which means no club is getting the arse or relocated.

Its that simple. If the NRL went about letting cash strapped clubs die, thered be no dragons, tigers, manly, or parra. Newcastle & melbourne would've got the arse years ago along with cronulla.

The fact none of that has happened is evidence enough that no club will be moving or dumped.

It really is a nonsense discussion started by a mob of lying wankers.

Theres been enough bullshit stories about the tigers from this shit rag of a newspaper to prove their lack of integrity.

Well said MU,the motto ''don't not let the truth get in the way of a good story''seems to be the norm with those BS articles in the paper.

Won't happen and would never happen.

The NRL have said many times over that no clubs will be relocated or kicked out of the comp.

The TV rights deal prevents it and the game can't afford to break that deal.

True. Plus Queensland has enough teams. Leave the sharkies here

A team from Perth is inevitable as the NRL attempts to increase TV coverage. The only issue is which club will make way to allow the entry of the new team.

Why would a club have to make way?

Perth should be in it rather than dumb Gold Coast who no one gives a flying f**k about

Exactly. Gold Coast is an anti sport area. Every sports team based there in recent times has been a failure.

Perth should never have been booted.

Unless you are willing to accept a lowering of standard which in itself is a self defeating strategy, there are not enough NRL standard players to go around to make up an additional team.

The Gold Coast is an integral component. Remember, a Gold Coast School team just won the national schoolboy competition. The area and Northern NSW have a proud history of producing talent.

It will be a Sydney team and not one of the expansion area teams or the Bulldogs or Roosters.

Killing a club and relocating a club are two very different things. No team will be cut because of TV but the tv rights won't necessarily stop a forced relocation. Infact the power TV holds over the game could make relocation even more likely if they want another Queensland team badly enough.
