Dear, oh dear.

Taylan May.

Picks on a young kid, assaults him in fact. Found guilty in court

The NRL Lack of Integrity Commission has punished him with a 2 game suspension.

A 2 game ban he can serve in 2023 because "finals games are worth more"

FMFFJJ WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THESE NUMBATS AT THE NRL?

So if a player gets a charge and a suspension on the weekend can they put off any suspension till next year? Can players currently suspended go to the NRL now and say they'll serve their suspension next year

Fair dinkum. Makes my head spin this shit

What’s funnier is the nrl saw the video and made a decision all is good no ban. Then he is charged and fined and the nrl go “oh he did a bad thing right ok well 2 game ban, but serve it when you’re ready” 😂

Imagine the NFL doing this Shit.

Well at least the players know they can take on any walnut that bothers them and choose when they serve their time after they get suspended.

Can this clown play for Samoa in the World Cup?

I don’t give a shit anymore….seriously.
I heard it and didn’t even bay an eyelid. Got a ticket to Saturday night and sort of looking forward to it - can’t wait to see my old mates, but yeah dunno.
It’s a worry when I can think of standing in the rain and loving it years ago. Jaded I guess

Do you expect anything less from an organisation that found a whole team guilty of being drug cheats then only suspended the players for 4 games at the end of a season that was over for them anyway?

To clarify my opinion I thought you guys were hard done by in the asada stich up and I cheered hard for you in 2016, the above is just an example of the head scratching decisions the NRL come up with constantly. They should have punished him at the beginning of the year when they saw the video or not at all.

Do you know that they didn’t find anyone guilty in the drugs case, they offered them deals ‘to admit something went on’, otherwise the whole saga was going to drag on another couple of years, and thus, guilt was thrust on them. Of course it’s always now reported as you have said, hey that’s how it goes.
edit: I think some OS players didn’t take the deal and kept playing, but happy to be corrected.
I get your point btw.

To be fair I don’t recall all the details. I remember thinking at the time that you guys were shafted, but not much beyond that.

The NRL are just reactionary with very little thought behind the process. Greatest game on earth, but shitful admin.

New tactic.

Commit criminal complaint as NRL player.

Claim to NRL integrity commission you plan on fighting on all charges. Make sure offence doesn't enact auto stand down (no raping or stabbing allowed).

Put off court hearing until as late as possible in season, once finals come, or even better, off season.

Serve meaningless 2 game suspension.

What a joke.

He could have plead guilty back in January. Fought it lost, no punishment basically.

But if Dale has another accidental head clash that's 4 weeks.

I have no issues with the nrl recognising that certain games are more important. They are. Finals, SOO, GF.

But if it’s good for this,, why isn’t it good for any suspension? I’ve been arguing Finals should be worth more points (eg 200-300) than a regular season (100) game, to avoid this fine bullshit and recognise the reality and impact of big games. Wouldn’t have the NOS issues if they did this

Typical western sydney scum grabbing a bloke from behind. Typical NRL nonsensical punishment
Some of the Pennie posters were going full West Sydney and somehow saying that it would have also been alright for May to punch the kid in the back of the head as well.

Coward punches all sweet eshaaaay baaah

It will be an even bigger farce if he can serve one of those week suspensions in a trial game next year.

Anyway such a coward act from Taylan May.

Kid could of cracked the 18 year old kids skull or broken his neck the way he was violently pulled down to the ground. Then the bunch of cowards began standing over him and having another go at him.

Penriff the family Club........
