It amazes me just how easily we raped them - not once has England managed to beat our first innings total and get a lead. It's amazing stuff.

I'm surprised that a bunch of yellow toothed malnutritioned alcoholics managed to have the wood over us for while. Which f**kstick allowed that to happen?

I was very surprised given how much better they had been over the last few years. Pretty much every single innings we dominated.

This is the reason why Warner has turned his game around. "A grade" muff.

so i take it Swann was told he would not be picked for the boxing day test and spat the dummy and retired so he can go home and sook.

No, I think Swann decided he'd had enough, and did the right thing. They'd have picked him on Boxing Day....they don't have an obvious alternative. Monty isn't at the top of his game, and is a vastly inferior bat. Part of Swann's problem is that we've got a lot fewer left handers in our batting lineup than we used to (and Aus have won the toss and batted first in each test).

I think Swann also realised that he is a pie chucker of the highest order.

...now that's a description I haven't heard for a while. He IS a 'pie chucker' and his back-stop, (can't call him a wicket-keeper) Matt Prior, is a pie eater...

255 wickets at < 30 a piece, and averaging 22 with the bat makes him a pretty handy player over his career. Admittedly not in great form this year, but overall one of the better non-chucking finger spinners I've seen.

He certainly was good in his day. But now, Sean Garlick would be proud of the number of pies he throws. Hey Swanny, next time can you throw down some sauce as well?

Swan gorne. Monte Panisar comes in. Anderson on light training only. Broad rested from training and not bowling ATM.

Will be a tough test at MCG for England to do well.

KP,Prior and Anderson look finished as well. The Poms are on a massive downward spiral.

Its just a shame he was such a knob.

I'm slightly disappointed they haven't yet put the call out for Simon Kerrigan to make a mercy dash to Sydney for the New Years test. Even Bailey could make runs against him.
