Exactly. At NRL level Ricky Stuart won a premiership with a good roster and a wooden spoon with a bad roster. His Origin record is similar.

I dont' think that our roster was as bad as what Ricky made out. Just look at how Brad Arthur has transformed the squad with the injection of just 3 players, Hoppa, Peats and Norman.

Maybe Ricky has lost his ablility to coach?

I don't think the roster was that bad either, but with Hayne and Sandow each missing nine games, Ben Smith missing 16 games, Tonga missing 20 and Loko missing 11 games we were always going to struggle in attack, defence, kicking and leadership at different stages of the year.

Seems as though Stuart has worked himself into another rebuilding phase with a club. Well played again Stuart....

The Raiders were inconsistent long before Ricky Stuart was their coach.

The last time they made the finals two years in a row was '97-'98 and the last time they missed the finals two years in a row was '85-'86.

Which means if they miss the finals this year it will be the first time they have missed the finals in consecutive years since before Sticky played for the Wallabies. At least he will have brought some consistency. lol

Triple M's Matty Johns says there are problems behind-the-scenes at Canberra after their embarrassing 54-12 loss to the Warriors at Eden Park on Saturday, which was the club's second big loss in a row.
"There's a bit of unrest in the coaching ranks, which has nothing to do with Ricky Stuart," said Matty Johns, on The Grill Team.
"His two main assistants Matt Parish and Dean Pay… those two guys have had a real big fall-out [and] no longer talk.

Pou Ricky seems to be bringing consistency to them now.

Previously they were a side that could look like world beaters, but occasional get beaten by 50.

Ricky has been able to bring that two weeks in a row.

Most observers feel confident they will be able to produce that form on a weekly basis, especially with the culture he has instilled at the club.
