What are they rebuilding? They have a decent squad and their 20's have been a powerhouse the last few years?

A simple forum search from 6 months ago confirms that - the raiders fans were complaining that they had the talent to challenge for top 8/ premiership glory, and it was furner holding them back. Raiders fans were telling the world that they have the nucleus of a possible dynasty, yet 6 months later they need a rebuild? Lol what the hell is wrong with people in Canberra? They are like the wankers on big footy lol

I was one, i thought the man might have had some integrity and wouldn't believe it until it was official. I was wrong. Now i say good riddance i hope he had the time of his life.

FWIW, I think there is some truth in the Dickster's motivation to head back to Canberra.....but I've never been convinced he's more than an ordinary coach. And from day one, wherever he goes he works on setting up his excuses.

It would make sense that their is some truth in his reason, but i heard him use the same reason as to why he took the eels job. I too thought he was an ordinary coach, but through desperation i suppose wanted to believe i was wrong and that he would turn us around. Even when he was doing things that seemed completely wrong for the team i was backing his play. Mind you i didn't want DA or SK to leave either, although in Sks case i only wanted him to see out his existing contract then f*ck off so people stopped annoying me about the eels getting rid of coaches mid contract.

I thought SK was a very ordinary coach, but a very decent bloke. In the long run, he'll do all right for himself.

I would take sk over Stuart any day if the week.

I have never seen a coach who can completely turn the fundamentals of the game into dust within a few months if him coaching a side.

He is possible up there in the langmacks terry lambs if coaching

If you go back and look at the statements that a few people made when it was announced he was our coach, you will see that you were an off season and 8 rounds behind the eight ball.

Maybe so, I never was thrilled at the hire and skeptical, but face him my full support, but by rd 7-8 I was astounded by the way our players looked more worse then when Kearney was here, I was shocked! And u am also a firm believer that it doesn't take 3 years to turn a club around, I am a believer that a good coach will make his players and team vastly better over night

Fair enough. Some people didn't need to f**k around for 7-8 rounds in regards to working that out.
