International boxing champion Lauryn Eagle has been fined following an incident at a Cronulla hotel last night.

Police were called to Northies Hotel about 8.45pm last night after Eagle refused to leave when directed by staff.

The 25-year-old girlfriend of Cronulla's Todd Carney came to be known for her fiery temper when she starred in the second season of the Celebrity Apprentice.

Police said that when officers from Miranda Local Area Command arrived, the woman allegedly argued with them and continuously refused to leave.

Eagle, from Peakhurst, was handcuffed and removed from the hotel before being taken to Miranda Police Station where she was issued with an infringement notice for the offence of "excluded person fail to leave premises when required".

This comes as Carney and Eagle are understood to have recently rekindled their romance after splitting last month.

Carney's team beat the Canberra Raiders 30-20 last night at Sharks Stadium.
