We would of had to play Melb sometime if we lose in Melb we still come back to Sydney for next match. bit of luck and everyone fit a win not an impossibility especially if you got Martin belting(legally of course) their 5/8th. Neither Easts or Sharks are supermen beaten both handily this year.

i think we need to be taking the Top 4 sides and Canterbury seriously,

we are playing well below our standards or previous years. if that same team shows up, we dont go past week 2 - it hurts and is infuriating to say it - but we are not playing well

we dominated Raiders 2nd half and couldnt put points on, Roosters Sharks and Dogs are finding ways to put points on - write them off all you want.

Canterbury needs to be taken seriously, their defence is getting better and better and alot of things are going right for Canterbury currently and a full of confidence, they are the 1 team you dont want to play in an elimination final as it stands.

Concur with all you posted, every team needs to be taken seriously. But not feared. No matter who you play they will have 13 on field and nil on scoreboard. What follows is a manifestation of player performance, God’s will and the Bunker. However still believe there are only 2 consequential teams in the Comp Melb and us. We have the cattle and maybe playing Semis will bring out Panther best.

I said a few weeks ago the dogs rely on Burton's long kicking to keep them out of trouble. They regularly have 20m - 30m sets. This week they found out what finals football vs a team with a forward pack is like and it was only Manly.
