I must be the only one here who think this Raiders side is dangerous. Very quick, strong outside backs. Some of the best forwards in the game. Balanced halves pairing and an electric fullback. Have looked defensively vulnerable on the edges at times but you could say the same about us. I don't care about Rickys coaching credentials, that side is playing well.

I think we have them covered at our best but we wouldn't need to be that far off for it to fall apart. I have them as a bigger threat than the Dogs and a Hughesless Storm.

Nah the roster is pretty good and Ricky has buckets of passion specifically for the raiders even if he's not a great coach so they'll go a long way.

Going to Canberra week one, backs against wall, a hostile crowd baying for blood and the media backing the Raiders and rubbishing us all week. Kenny, Martin, Yeo, Edwards, To'o and Leota will be getting slightly aroused just at the thought of it. Those conditions are exactly what our boys live for. I'm not mentioning Cleary because he is the iceman, nothing arouses him except Michelle....

It really doesnt matter who or where we play. Its the other teams that should be worrying about their position so they don't get panthers.

I dunno man Ricky Stuart has his team in first..........he's a terrible coach.

Ricky is a great coach. He built this side basicaly from scratch. And always has a well prepared tough side.
Roosters must be spewing they to Strange from them.

I think they are awesome but come finals I would back Penrith over them every day of the week. I just feel like they could implode in a finals game and get walloped for some reason.

I think it's a 3 horse race atm with Canberra and Roosters the only dangerous sides left in the 8. Pending if Brisbane make it and are fit.

I rate them. Weekes will hurt us if we give him any room on returns. Tamale if he returns the same as earlier this year is a handful. Plenty of good forwards too.

But I see a flaw. Edge defence both sides. Particularly the right side. Makes me nervous for them. I can't see them beating any of the other top 4 teams in the finals unless its addressed. Storm, Dogs and Penrith are the better defensive teams in 2025.

Had another Canberra fan tell me they are a bit like the 2003 Panthers. They will just out score their opposition. Though I believe we had more experience in our spine. Gower and Priddis had played at every level of football by the time 2003 had arrived.

So I'm curious to see how the Raiders spine handles the pressure of finals football. Or just guys like Jed Stuart who is very green. They really need Tamale back.

I think you can make a case for the chances of the current top four.

The Warriors, Broncos, sharks are basically done as far as premiership contenders are concerned.

I think the Roosters of those who may finish in the top 8 are the only realistic threat of the clubs currently outside the top 4. They are potentially dangerous opponents with there best spine fit and firing & a young aggressive forward pack.
