im bashing the fact that he never puts his body on the line....thats what fullbacks generally do...
Then you haven't watched him play much, what a dumb ass comment, Burt puts his body on the line more than most champ, especially for someone his size.

I was really impressed with Cordoba's contribution tonight.. He looked like a man on a mission and obviously the stint with Wenty did him some good.

see how much better we go when we get some go forward? who's pointing fingers at backs tonight?

big well done to cordoba for seizing an opportunity for recall.

DA doesnt know how to interchange your forwars for crap..mannah plays 1/3 of the time cayless and the rest play and he has 6 hitups..use him more, he's fit and wants to go hard..he's got the 4th most hitups in the team apparently and he's averaging like 25-30 mins a game..get someone to teach DA how to interchange players

I think they all benefited from playing with a lot more ball and player movement. There were hardly any times when they just played one out with nobody else following through. Mannah coped a big hit when he first went on and waqs lucky to be able to remain on his feet afterwards, he was all over the place trying to get back into position. It just shows how tough he is, a lesser man would have benn lying on his back.

i thought last night was a great game for Mannah's education in the top grade. he was able to come on, copped a beauty first up, but was able to reset himself and contribute well to the team. would have done his confidence the world of good, especially with a win.

in saying that about Mannah, I wonder how long the Cowboys have got that young prop that debuted for them under contract. he was impressive! 20 year old and a huge unit as well.

Tim Mannah is still disappointing, I thought he would have matured a bit quicker than he has

not say we should flick him, the amount of potential he showed in TYC I 'd still persevere with him for a while yet

he's a prop ffs mate. they ALL take time to mature. if you gave up on him you'd be like the dragons looking back at brent kite, brett white etc...

Cordoba was like a man on a mission - 10 out of 10. It was the first time this year that he looked the part out in the middle.

How well did we handle the ball - I can't remember one handling error by the forwards

Agreed. I thought Ben Smith showed a huge improvement as well. Had some really nice touches and his defence was terrific. Best Lowrie has played for a long time, too. If he could manage to eliminate his handling errors, he`d be a handy attacking weapon, running into holes. Anyway, if the forwards can play that well WITHOUT Hindmarsh, imagine........
Bring on Manly!

I thought Benny did well to hit holes close to the line, but it shows what you can do when you have some structure. I would most definatly go with;

8 Cayless
9 MKeating
10 Fui
11 Hindmarsh
12 Smith
13 Smoking Joe

14 Lowrie
15 Cordoba
16 Mannah
17 Weller

When Paulo is fit I would look to play him in the backrow (smith to lock) and have Smoking Joe come off the bench (to add experiance when other come off) instead of Lowrie or Weller
