We must keep Moi Moi. Offer him anything...he's become one of the best props in the game IMO.

As for the rest...well, stats can be deceptive, I though Hauraki played a lot better than that indicates (and I'm certainly no big fan of his), as did Matt Keating who was one of our best.

weirdly enough, our go forward seemed pretty good. commentators mentioned that we had no trouble in that area

our kicking game and 5th tackle options let us down badly, real badly
let alone our completion rates

I also thought our play the balls this year have been very slow, Id keep the same backline but i think we need changes in the forwards ASAP.

the numbers don't lie, i was at the game, we got yardage from tautai and hayne going blindside tackles 2 and 3. made the forwards look good

Bloody hell 2 weeks ago Todd Lowrie made 5m for the entire match and tonight he made 16m all up. That is disgraceful.

unfortunately, I fear Fui may well be someone who won't be around much longer ... whereas in reality we actually need another 3 of him

I thought our kicking game was much improved, actually. Found a lot of grass on the long kicks and caused problems with short ones. Hayne alone dropped 3 or 4 kicks, several of them very simple. I think what hurt us was that we chased poorly at times, dropped a million balls, and lacked intensity in defence in our own 20m zone. Funnily enough our goal line defence was ok...it was the defence 15-20m out that really let us down. We also took some average options on early tackles when we had good opportunities.

we are shocking in all aspects but its our defence that is our major problem at the moment. what is happening out there? the worst part is that they tried real hard tonight and still got slapped by 40. the only conclusion i can come up with is that most of our players are not worthy of first grade. its gonna be a dark year.

100% agree.

After the game against Souths, I thought we had the makings of a decent defence. Then again, Souths didn't throw much at us.

Our defence is atrocious, we won't win any games unless we fix it up.

Looking back I think we got souths on a bad day

they played the tigers in 30c heat during the day on the sunday, then had to play us on the friday, so were zapped a bit id say

then of course we were damm lucky to get away from canberra

Do we need to start referring to them as "the guys in the jerseys with bigger numbers".....calling them "forwards" doesn't really seem to fit anymore.
