Fenson was usually lock - #13. I thought Jarrad Kennedy usually played at #12. Both are good.

Yes 12 was Kennedy. I think both Kennedy and Edwards have the talent to make it in the NRL. Even if we end up sacking Thompson we are still very strong in the back row position.

Fensom is the man you're thinking of and yes, he's simply awesome... Straight out of the Alan Tongue mould but with more power in his running game so he can bust the line

You may be right , we have some awesome talent coming through , if we get to keep them then the great Tongue may be moved to a bench position.

Fair point - but with Tonguey you can't even argue that his form has dropped to the point where it's even on the cards.

Fensom will be knocking on the door in a year or so, but if he is good enough he will be the one coming off the bench until the great man retires. Tongue will be 29 this year so it may be perfect timing for Shaun.

I agree in part , but in 2-3 years time these young guys wont be so inexperienced. If Tongues form is warranted then he'll be there , but I dont think he have the luxury of when he chooses.
Anyway this isnt a worry for now , Im going to sit back and enjoy the great man lead our team to great days.

Yeah, I think he now realises that he has the respect of just about everyone in the NRL and he's well entitled to get stuck in when we get shafted.

I think his ball playing is still underrated and if we can surround him with halves that can actually tackle (unlike Carney and Dobson) he just might get a chance to show that off a little more.
