Our right edge defence atrocious

You're not getting it Tiger, he's got no choice. He either leaves a 15m hole between he and the witches hat on legs and the opposition stroll through 100% of the time, or he stays in which is his best chance of jamming the movement out wide and killing the play.

I hear what you are stating but it's not that simple. Take Naiqama out of there and it'll still be bad.

Its immensely improved with Kev out. But Moses reluctanve to move up and slide is part of the reason why Kev charges up and in way too early. He's trying to fill Moses' gap in the line. Have a look at where our defenders were after the dragons first try. Kev was a long way up and in, Moses was cover defending and nowhere near the winger. Nofo had to rush up and in and left Nightingale unmarked and with plenty of space. The line is a shambles and only Nofo held his pisition in the line.

The 3 defenders inside him all f**ked up.

The second try happened because Kev flew up too early and left nofo isolated.

I don't care if you put the worlds best defender on that wing, he wouldn't have prevented any of those tries.

That is fact.

Well why do you think Cleary has swapped Naiqama with Idris ? Because he knows Naiqama is the main fault line in our edge defense

I don't know why you don't see it. Naiqama is beyond terrible in defense and so far this year is very average in attack

I'd sack Naiqama but I don't think he is the issue out there or better put I don't think it's just him. I'd play Suli there. It will still be a mess but we'll see if the kid can make it there.

05,the poor kids struggling already with his defence and hands....
He doesnt have anyone to mentor him..I really feel for the kid....
Give him credit though he takes the ball up hard and never seems to get down on himself......

With Grace Jones he's lucky there is nobody in Intrust Cup putting pressure on him.

Suli is not YET the answer.

Hes played what 5 first grade games?

I would hardly be moving him at this stage to add starch in a defensive line -

If we are pinning our defensive hopes on an 18 year old kid we really are f**ked.

Suli is only being considered because of the ridiculous money they threw at it him. He will quickly lose all his confidence with the huge expectations put on him. I reckon put Suli back in NSW Cup at right centre. He now has FG experience under his belt so let him tear up NSW Cup then come back in his favourite position.

It sounds like a good idea but honestly pushing Suli back to reserves would ruin his confidence. Persist with him in 1st grade, he isn't even that bad - just a couple errors in his game which every single rookie ever has when they first start out

He's also played his entire career at centre before, it's not like chucking him in the centres would be completely new to him

Everything would be improved immensely if he swapped with Kev.

No real surprise our right side has let in more tries then the left, the opposition certainly target it as it usually pays dividends,i am not totally convinced our left side is that crash hot either.

Well look at it from the Dragons perspective

Who would you rather attack

Right edge - Aloiai, Moses, Naiqama and Nofoaluma

(Which possibly holds the 2 worst defenders in the nrl)

Or

Left Edge - Lawrence, Littlejohn, Idris and Suli

You'd target the right edge every day of the week.

I'd be either swapping Idris for Naiqama just to balance out the size difference or chuck Suli in the centres to partner Nofo and Naiqama outside Idris

That, would greatly improve our edges in attack and defense almost immediately

Naiqama was terrible on the wing.
And he was still better there then at centre.

But as I've long said, he isn't NRL quality and if I'm honest he wouldn't get a run in the Superleague either, proven by the fact the club has tried fir 3 years now to palm him off to the ESL and not one club was interested.

there was a bloke called S.Man

Pretty solid fellow too. But like the rest of our side, weak as cats piss when faced with a powerful green opponent.
