So far our game against the Sea Eagles, was a cut above the rest, and yes I realize that there is still one game being played right now.

My question is, what team, or teams, are you nervous about playing?

Losing Welch for the season is huge for the Storm. He is their best prop. Their depth is worse than ours in the middle now with Finucane having gone to the Sharks and Kamikamica almost certainly gone for the season with his criminal charges. The Storm are also going to be weak on one wing with Jennings gone for the season as well.

Normally I worry the most about us playing the Storm. The Storm will still probably beat most of the teams they play in the regular season, but you'd have to think losing Welch will have a particularly big impact come finals time.

Hopefully we can manager to stay fitter than them.

I wasn't impressed at all with the Roosters. Keary looks like he has lost some agility and pace post ACL and they were outplayed by the Knights. Parras defence looked dubious against the Titans. We crushed Manly.

It is a long season and staying fit is going to be the biggest risk to us going back to back.

I’m still saying Melbourne, Easts & Parra. We certainly look a cut above those team at this stage but they have the best squads and/or coaching to be in good shape come finals time. Souths & Manly are just a couple pieces away this year I think.

Put Cleary into that side though and get some more game time together for the spine and it’ll take a bloody good performance to stop us.

The NRL is a long race. It isn't a sprint. It's Trent's Robinson's MO to start the season slow. As for Storm Munster will just have a crazy season where he goes to another level or something. It's Craig Bellamy, he'll find a way. You can expect them to be just as good as they usually are.

Roosters and Storm. Souths will feel the loss of Reynolds more than they think.

I think Parra are chokers. Get pumped up every year by CH7 and the Telecrap.

Sharks are not in the same league. Best they can hope for is making up the numbers in the top 8.
Eels usually run out of steam mid year.

I have them as a roughy. I do not think the boy band trio (Heinz Mozza and Braileys) are good enough, but their monster pack is up there, reminds me of Bulldogs 2014

Roosters and Storm your biggest threats. Depending on injuries.
I don't think BA is competent enough for premiership.
Lol Souths.

The trouble with the Sharks is two of their biggest and highest paid forwards are old and broken.
Could lose Nikora next year too. Big money offers coming in. Headed by the Tigers and Manly.

I am hoping that this year is a bit more open than the past few years; guess we will see in 6-7 rounds time.

Might be one of those years (aren't they all) where it comes down to who is the most healthy at the end of the season.
