Its a pretty ordinary record but the thing about teams like the Roosters and Dragons is that when they get on a roll they are impossible to stop. I also think that with the Tiges that they lack a bit of self belief, in the Dragons game their heads went down when they had that try disallowed. I'm not saying they lack heart at all but its just the beleif that they have it in themselves.

They'll get there though, there's a lot of excellent young guys coming through the ranks. I think a finals apperance this season would be great for the team and that they could kick on from there.

it was just a few patches in the last two weeks where both teams scored 3 tries in about 6 or 7 minutes... its just class.

this week is crucial. a win in canberra will go a long way to our season.

if we win this game and get SOME confidence and cohesion in attack and defence we might still be able to steal 8th place... otherwise our season is over and we, again, will be looking to next year.

Yeah after the last two games this one is all about getting a bit of confidence back and if they put a couple of wins together on the trot these two shocking games will be distant memories. Its the oldsporting cliche that 'You're only as good as your last game'

I hope the Tiges get into the finals, it would be great to see. Good luck to you guys for the rest of the season

I think those stats are the exact reason us supporters need to stick solid and support the boys, the top 8 is still very much a realistic option , im just worried about the effect the last 2 weeks may have on the side, , i read somewhere earlier today about satts saying the players can do one of two things, they can shut up shop or they can dig deep and fight. i seriously hope option 2 is the way we head.

Option one has obviously been easier the this last week.

Mate you forget your talkin bout a team that took two years to string two wins together.

A few wins in the next few weeks wont solve anything......this last 6 days just goes to show this club still has not moved forward.

Mate, I am the first to say that i agree with pretty much everything I see you post and even though we disagree here I will continue to agree with whatever you say as you obviously know what you are talking about.....

But these boys have made great leaps forward, last year Ricky Stuart would not have been anywhere near as passionate on the sideline and both the Roosters and the Dragons wouldn't have turned up to play a perfect game. Last year both teams would have won by 30 against a substandard team without really putting in.....

This year they know they have to turn up because the Tigers are going places and they know that they can no longer take them easy. The Tigers just have to play a few of these games to get used to being one of the sides to beat.....these are the first ch9 games the boys have had in a while, let them get used to being in the spotlight before you crucify them. If they are losing the corresponding game next year by 50 then I think we have reason to be disappointed, but at the moment we have a team that is just starting to find its way and by this time next year, I am confident they will be amongst the top 4 teams in the competition to beat....

I think the glass is half full approach is much better, despits what's happened in the last two weeks this has been a very positive year as fan for me. It's the first time I have felt we can actually move up the ladder.

Losing to two of the best squads, if not the two best squads, in the NRL by so much did hurt - and I did down too many schooners trying to wipe away that pain - is not as bad as it seems.

Getting overly negative - both here and in the squad - is the worst thing to do. Everyone needs to forget the events of the last two weeks and focus on what is to come. If the results go the way they should this week we will still be in a good position on the table.
