All his songs sound exactly the same to me. I suppose he's okay for repetitive background music.

Meh, i guess i just don't care for the style. I find them gimmicky and they try too hard to be cool.

Pink Floyd - I like some of their music but some rate them as the best ever. No chance.

Radiohead - Critics love them, while I don't mind OK Computer, I just don't see the fuss.

I agree with the Jack Johnson and Jet theory. Jack Johnson falls into that surfy genre with other "artists" like Pete Murray.

Boring as batshit and a potential cause of driver fatigue.

The thing with Jet is that their music, however derivative, is fun.

There is far too much navel-gazing in what people think should be a serious genre.

Yes it can be but there is plenty of room for girls and cars.

I agree. I'm sick of bands 'maturing'.

So many bands hit the scene with a really energetic sound - like Jet - but over time they pull back into their shell and become 'mature'. And I'd wish they didn't, and just kept playing the fun stuff the whole time.

The White Stripes and The Strokes are fantastic.

Jet is the best Aussie band for a long time. I guess I'm officially an idiot, o well.

Between the 3 bands, there is more talent than the entire Pop, RnB and Rap genre's combined.
