Why are the games involving Fiji and the PI sides in Port Moresby, not Fiji? Seems kinda odd, and a bit of a snub to the island nations

Shaun Johnson has officially pulled out

Still fairly strong though with Hughes, Brown and Foran still available at this point

It was a long season for the 33 year old! Where did all that time go? I was at the SFS for his debut in June '11. I'm glad he's getting a rest and, this time, it's well deserved.
2011 GF, 2 rookie halfbacks who in 2023 are both in the top 10 of the Dally Ms and could have squared off in this tournament too, provided they pick DCE as backup half. The way he is looking he may have another 4-5 years in him too

I'm slightly less annoyed at the outcome of the DallyM now.

Tohu and SJ need a kick in the pants.

Yeah no-one is going to criticise Shaun at the moment because he's the toast of the town and most people are Warriors fans first and foremost, but as a lifelong Kiwi fanatic I feel obliged to at least softly whisper "f**k you Shaun". It's deserved too. Blokes should be playing for the Kiwis. The fact that it's a popular choice to skip tests because of burnout from NRL is and will always be completely f**ked and arse-backwards.

It's particularly galling/sad because it likely means that Shaun's test career ended in 2019. It would've been awesome for him to embrace his resurgence with an unexpected return to the Kiwis.

Also Tohu has not copped nearly enough shit for his complete shunning of the Kiwis.

Just my 2 cents because someone has to care.

Meninga a bit puzzled how Latrell was ruled out by Souths through injury but he was playing in the Koori Knockout last weekend

In Kiwis news, Brandon Smith has been ruled out

DWZ going to play for Tonga. We made this prick the captain of our country when he was nowhere near deserving it.

Ah well, another half-arsed Kiwi squad with countless blokes who either cbf playing or want to play for someone else. f**k them all.

And to think we went through a phase where Kearney wouldn’t pick one of the keenest and proudest kiwis in Marshall

Couldn’t believe what I was reading when DWZ is reportedly mulling over whether to have surgery or play for Tonga

Cleary may be out of the Roos with an MCL injury

footage from the GF shows Haas getting him in the 10th minute with a textbook hip drop tackle that’s going unpunished
