Looked at all the pacific comp (PC) teams. There are like 2-3 warriors players in the WHOLE comp, including Tonga (which isn't in the PC tournie). Not sure what this says.

Too many Aussies?
Too many NZers making themself unavailable?
Team is better than the sum of it's parts?

NAS has announced how much he would love to pair up with Haas in the front row for Samoa

Piss off now then you grub, don’t pick him

I always gave him a pass because of how he stayed loyal when everyone else seemed to be jumping ship at the '17 WC. Now he seems to be in fear of missing out.

As grubby as he is, he's always been one of the most vocal "I'm a Kiwi" guys out there. That's disappointing (but ultimately unsurprising, Kiwis not wanting to play for the Kiwis is pretty much a given at this point).

He said this whilst in the Kiwis squad? What a raging joke international league has become.
TBF, I wouldn't begrudge him playing for Samoa when he's not good enough for the Kiwis. I mean if Taupau had waited a year before switching I wouldn't include him in the judas camp with Taumalolo because his form dropped off a cliff.

Yeah, but he's saying that when he's literally in Kiwis camp. I find that so Mickey Mouse. I wish he would go and play for Samoa, as though I don't care hugely for our side, we deserve better than him.

hodge podge of a team, but hooker aside the starting pack is pretty decent, especially the middle - can't do much better anywhere than JFH and Leota, and great call on captain - he's as genuine as they come

tbh I'd much prefer Kiwis playing for the Kiwis and saying "maybe at the end of my career I'll have a run for the country my parents came from", than Kiwis actually ditching the Kiwis in their prime.

We're 12-0 up at halftime. Is a much-needed, memorable, upset on the cards?

Edit: Isaako gets a double! 16-0! Ten mins gone, 2nd Half.

On the hour and Timoko's in! Converted by Isaako. 22-0. We have one hand on the cup.

30-0, Kiwis. Final. Sweet as, if that's not an adrenalin shot straight to the heart of Kiwi league I don't know what is.

Great win, but how the f**k did that happen? Seems every now and then when we have absolutely no chance, we beat them 😀
