After the bye we take on the panthers in adelaide and after what i saw from the 1st 4 rounds and assuming we have our full compliment of players like the injury list suggests, i think this is the team we need to take into this game.

1. Billy Slater
2. Matt Geyer
3. Matt King
4. Greg Inglis
5. Jake Webster
6. James Aubusson (Scott Hill will be outed for awhile thanks to his ref abuse)
7. Cooper Cronk
8. Brett White
9. Cameron Smith
10. Dennis Scott
11. Mick Crocker
12. David Kidwell
13. Dallas Johnson

14. Ryan Hoffman
15. Adam Blair
16. Ian Donnelly
17. Jeremy Smith

18th Man: Steve Turner

What do u guys think?

Assuming Ben Cross is still injured.

Adam Blair and Jeremy Smith HAVE to be there. Much better options than Kaufusi and Feeney respectivly.

Cross needs to be in there and Blair did enough to get another start on the bench...Hill will not get suspended...here's hoping ??.

i thought turner was fast...but when i think about it...ive never seen him show any pace. good player but friggin slow for a winger/fullback

White does look like he has had a few donuts over the summer but should get back to normal in the next few rounds. He is still a bloody good player.

Turner is technically strong and has great skills but has not really had many opportunities to use his pace...I would like to see him get more involved in set plays as he is a strong finisher when attacking close to the line.

Brett White is 5 times the player this year than he was last year.

And I'm not talking about his size either. He is playing superb.

At this early stage heres my team;

1. Greg Inglis
2. Matt Geyer
3. Jake Webster
4. Matt King
5. Steve Turner
6. James Aubusson/Marc Brentall
7. Cooper Cronk
8. Brett White
9. Cameron Smith
10. Garrett Crossman
11. David Kidwell
12. Ryan Hoffman
13. Dallas Johnson

14. Adam Blair
15. Ian Donnelly
16. Jermey Smith

The 17th spot depends very much so on injuries.

Mick Crocker, Ben Cross, Dennis Scott, Chris Walker or Jamie Feeney could slot in there somewhere.

Theres also an argument to play Steve Turner at fullback rather than Inglis. Inglisis so god damn good under the high ball, we may benift by keeping him out wide.

Turner has been outpaced down his wing a number of times.... every game in fact.... It has to be his ankle and his time out from full training over the last year or two....

White has been a bit soft of late....started ok against the Warriors and Roosters but has gone missing and looked fat against the Tigs and Cowboys....

i dont know what all this bagging of white is about, he's been our best forward this year, especially in the last two games.

Mony if you think White has been soft in the last 2 games, then you musn't have seen the bloody game.

He is making twice as many hit-ups a game compared to last year, and he id denting the defensive line almost every run.

hes averaging 9 hit ups a game this year..... he played very well against the warriors and roosters but he has hardly been damaging at all against cowboys and tigers..... im sorry if you cant see that Earl......

crossman has been better than him this year imo.... i really rate him..
