Because winning is contagious. The Sharks are winning in games they shouldn't. There's a bunch of new faces for this game and not one of them has a thing to lose. Especially in a season where opportunities have been sparse. The new guys will be jumping out of their skins to make an impression to be the guy that gets looked at during the pointy end if someone goes down.

Penrith might win but they won't beat us. The Sharks will beat themselves through over enthusiasm if the result is negative.

But by not allowing him to go could have a negative effect unless he just didn't want to go .

Cant believe he did that to the young bloke, he'd have to be very disappointed. I think those camps would be great for a young player's development.

How quickly these kids forget the premiership winning coach, front rower and 5/8 we gave them.
