What if he has a bumper season and gets a big offer from Penrith to stay on?

What if he makes good mates at Penrith?

What if Penrith wins the comp and we finish last?

Too many variables in my opinion for a player to make decisions on their future with that sort of logic.

As for asshole of the earth, about 5 kms from Boorowa heading to Canberra you turn right. If you pass through Balranald you've gone too far.
