That's a pretty good team. Didn't expect to see Jamal Idris back anytime soon. Happy with the Jennings boys getting a run.

Hopefully DWZ is back for Round 1 and replaces Simmons rather than George Jennings. Will be interesting to see if Korisau gets a run in first grade when we have a full strength team and a limit of 17 players. We still have to fit in Tyrone Peachey and cut the bench down to 4 guys. Hard to see him keeping his spot with Peachey and Brown being able to fill a utility role if needed.

I expect we'll see the bench specialist hooker experiment at some point again. Segs and Korisau. If we don't have the size in the forwards we can at least have constant fast service and dummy-half runs.

I don't think we'll see Api on the bench until our pack can prove it can do its job with one less big guy on the bench. They really are serious about Robert aren't they.

It's a pleasant surprise to see a strong team named. I guess we're taking this one seriously. Both Jennings named, awesome.
I don't suppose local radio will do a call.

First half McKendry and Latimore went toe to toe in the slowest play the ball in the world competition, honours split, RCG and Kite came on, RCG a bit harder to put down but pretty much resumed the competition. Idris was the best bringing it out of our own end, then Jennings but that isn't saying much. After 25 mins Cartwright, Lats and Idris looked f**ked.

First time they went left they should have scored but their centre and winger were on top of each other. On the right Jamie shot up and stopped one play forcing a mistake, Cartwright shot up twice and missed the tackle but forced them back inside and stopped the play. Cartwright got steamrolled by Hoppa on a kick return.

BMM came on the left side for Cartwright, Manu has had 5mins at lock, both playing with more intensity like a first grade spot is on the line.

Their tries were bullshit, a crap ricochet kick and Kite attempting to ball play throwing an easy intercept.

Our tries were good, simple cut out from Segs to Wallace to Whare for a catch and pass to Simmons. And a beautiful set play from a scrum where Idris catches the ball on their line, turns and shovels it back to Moylan as he's hit and catch and pass for Moylan and BMM to put Jennings over.
