The comments here today alone show I'm right.

By all means ignore what I have written. I don’t give a f**k either way. Let’s just have an NRL competition of four teams and I guess from your stance let’s hope we are one of the four. 24 rounds of for and against play each other half a dozen times each. No point including those who can’t compete or win the big one. I’m not sure the TV rights deal would be that great but go figure.

This is pretty silly. Other teams being better than yours doesn't mean you have no desire to win. If that was true the club wouldn't have worked so hard to be a premiership threat the last 10 years.

There wouldn't be a fan base not wanting to win, very few times do you actually have the squad to make it possible

Exactly.

Who is ditching who? Still can be disappointed by an under achieving family member

You've missed the point completely.....but hey carry on. In a family you love and support no matter what. You chose to see family members in a positive light.

Some of the mutterings on here on earlier were almost embarrassing......the doom and gloom......about being in a finals game (what the)

The demandingness of some within the supporter base is almost comical. As though your ideas and thoughts as ignorant punters (like me) are brilliant and better than the professional coaches.

I think some of you are just waiting with baited breath for a loss, so you call whinge and whine some more.

Family is a strong bond. I come from a big family. Some maybe have underachieved and in my situation some are flawed, far from perfect. In my family we don’t desert those members less fortunate, we continue to support them. It’s not disappointment, it’s circumstances but at the end of the day my family bonds together and supports those less fortunate. You clearly see things differently, family is more important than any football game by the way. So in respect of tomorrow night I will be able to live with a loss, but will still be there the following day for my family, some of whom are doing it a little tough right now.

Wanting better and supporting aren't mutually exclusive in both situations.

Look up the word support.

If you honestly think that's what you were doing this afternoon. I can't help you.

Supportive: "providing encouragement or emotional help."

Saying the team is capable of winning a comp or can improve fits pretty comfortably in the meaning of a supporter.

Exactly.
My support of the Panthers has never been about premierships.

Never has been, never will be.

There my team, thru thick and thin. My families team.

By all means you and your fan boys can continue to promote this notion nothing less than a Premiership victory is acceptable.

Forgive me if I don’t see it that way.

Covid has deprived me and other family members of enjoying being at our games and the joys of victory.

Enjoy those who support your posts, because they are as shallow as you are.

I can live with us not winning the GF this year.

I have a club and a team to be proud of, and I will remain supportive of them regardless of how this season unfolds.

Shallow because I have a different standard to you? No one said you couldn't support the team however you want.

Funny how you turn to insults whenever people have opinions you don't like.

Also technically it'd be you who's shallow as you don't value any kind of analysis you just want to watch a win/loss and say go team.
