Panthers v Parra

If Edwards and leota are back I'd get rid of Staines and eisenhuth. Also I don't see what benefit Mitch Kenny has on the bench either. He can only really cover koroisau at hooker and he's not really good at that either.Hes too small to play backrow and can't cover the backs.Id much prefer tago he can cover forwards or backs strong runner and hits hard.Ivans selections and bench rotation killed us against south's.

Parramatta have 3 guys on report and a few carrying injuries if we can't beat them we don't deserve to play finals.I know it's a local derby and there's 4 ex panthers in there team but surely we make light work of them sat night. The kikau to the bench shit needs to stop in any sport you play if you don't start with your strongest starting lineup you will be playing catchup from behind.

It's cause your style is playing fast and your fitter and smaller forwards wear others down then trample them. But the Storm love to play fast. To beat them you need to turn it into a slow grinding game where they can't get on a roll. That takes there speedsters out of the game. It suits the Eels. We play boring. But have strong middles so can match it with sides that way.
Storm like a fast line speed and to slow you down. But they love a fast game. Turn it into a slow, stop start bash n barge is how to put them off. Fake a few injuries etc.

Parra will take you guys on in the middle. RCG is playing great. If Jnr is suspended its game over. Marata maybe also.
Blake has been great of late. Penisini is a brilliant young centre. Player for player there won't be much in it.

Penrith have better wingers and slightly better centres if Crightons there otherwise its evens. Halves in Penriths favour but it isn't like Moses/Brown aren't capable or matching them.
No Mahoney give you a huge leg up at hooker.

The only thing in Eels favour is they have won 3 in a row now and on a bit of a roll. Also no pressure.
Not counting round 25 huh?

Likely 17 unless I've missed something.

1. Edwards
2. Crichton
3. Momirovski
4. Burton
5. To'o
6. Luai
7. Cleary
8. Leota
9. Api
10. Fish
11. Martin
12. Capewell
13. Yeo

14. Kenny
15. Leniu
16. TPJ
17. Kikau

I know people want Tago and that's not necessarily wrong because he's a gun but it won't happen. Same with me liking Staines but again won't happen at full strength. I can't shake the feeling the bench is wrong and we need another specialist middle and I'd take Hopgood but need someone who can cover hooker I guess. I like Kikau off the bench since his form has increased big time, if he starts he needs to come off at 30 minutes and back on at 60.

I said weeks ago we need Edwards at fullback to be a chance. Future years when others have prep time for the position they might take it but not right now.

Eels are paying over $4. I would of had them around 3 so I suspect the Tab has been tipped off on suspensions.
They all work together.

Yes unfortunately. Shoulder charge to head. Only defense can be Lane pushed him towards. But I would lean towards 3 weeks
I hope that doesn’t happen. Seemed to me watching it there were mitigating circumstances. He more kind of landed on the shoulder than Jnr instigating it.

If Yeo gets off his crusher, Jnr has a chance!!

What's this based on? We beat them earlier this year and the second time didn't really count with so many out
Its based on them being a better team in better form and having destroyed us in last years grand final and our last encounter with them.

Our form has been poor for a while now. We have it in us to be better. But realistically it's a long shot us beating Storm next week. Eels have done so recently. Although i think Storm pump either team in a finals game.

The only change I’d like to see is May in for Kenny. But he probably won’t be ready to play next weekend.

If Edwards is ok an attacking threat like Crichton should be in the centres. Not wasted on wing outside a ball hog.
Play your best attacking assets in their best positions.

Momo ain’t getting dropped, he was arguably our best player on the weekend.

Up to Cleary (and Crichton) to get Crichton involved from the wing. He should be touching the ball in a set play every other set.

Souths were $4 this week. Seems about right. One chance in 4.

No arguably about it. Momirovski was Panthers best.
