Parkin at NSO

I thought ur forum may be the best place to post this Q.

Its been almost 30 years since I been to North Sydney Oval...thinking of taking the young fella this sunday.....from memory I dont think theres any carparks there and I'm guessing its all metered parking in nearby streets?

Wheres all the good secret parkin spots near NSO?

Amigo, I've always caught the train there and walked up to the Oval but if you are willing to park a couple of streets away and walk a couple of blocks there is streets with unlimited parking on the western side of the oval, just go 2 or 3 blocks away. If not, there are churches ect that charge for parking, not sure how much but that would be your next best bet I guess!

When was the last time you were at these 3 grounds?

been to these grounds within the last 3 months and i forgot to inlcude henson park.
leichardtt, 2 wooden grandstands=unsafe, fire prone.
redfern=maybe good for juniors, Run down, but NOT NRL standard.
campbelltown= outdated. if sitting in the grandstand and it rains, you get wet.
north sydney= good for watching cricket, but not much else. cricket pitch in middle=too many injuries to players. the state of the ground, out of date.
all clubs related to these grounds should be booted out of the competetion, no premierships within 30 years and obviously no money to buy good players.

compared to brookvale oval, we have 3 grandstands, digital scoreboard, modern facilites and in regards to the team performing, now we have more money, it will only get better.
