I agree to the article posted here. We will be one of the strongest team next year. Go with the EELS.

there will still be a lot of questions that will need to be answered. games aren't won on paper and a lot of our signings aren't coming off their best seasons. i agree things are looking more positive than in recent seasons but lets not get ahead of ourselves.

What I think may happen is if there is a change, and its only speculation I've read on here that there may change, is that it may be done unofficially.

IE, Smith's name will still appear as coach in the big league....but that may not necessarily be how it is working off field.

May be a little bit obvious when the media turns up to training.

Whatever way its done, it will be managed to cause Brian Smith the least embarrasment possible. And so what if the media turn up to training, it would probably just appear to be a head coach working with his assistants. But also, have these possible changes to the coaching staff been mentioned anywhere other than here?

A lot of signing rumours originated here also. Then Tony "Scoop" Peters would read it, it would go to Channel 10 and then RLW etc etc. People on this forum are well connected and informed.

One must praise the attitiudes of Hindmarsh and Cayless, who despite not being part of a finals caimpaign for two seasons, have had the faith in coach Smith and shown confidence in the team for future years. This is a role that other youngsters should live up to and aspire to.

Whether BS is coaching or not, he's been able to convince them to stay.

Give him credit for that, but I would have loved to a been a fly on the wall.
