If we can't beat THAT then we are struggling.

As much as I'd like to see the pom Thorman go well, he battled in defence last week. Witt has potential but lacks experience. The forwards look pretty soft, the backs unspectacular ...

hmmm I think Smith is playing his favourite mind games he does so often.

I would be very suprised if Grothe and Morris arent recalled.

Langi & Dykes will stay in first division though

Gee I hope we don't get complacent. If we're fairdinkim we should put 30 on this mob. Morris, Grothe and Hindy have been there best players this year and two of them are missing. I hope our forwards get pumped! If we get a roll on our backs will have a field day. Benji Hodgson Prince and Fitzy will make breaks @ will!

Yeah the parra side resemble's a who's who of their PL squad. However this makes this game extra dangerous, IF we play our best on sunday we will win, we need to make sure we turn and and get the points complacency will be no excuse.

For some reason the post I made yesterday didn't seem to come up but I can't see why it would have been deleted so I'm guessing it is just the pathetic pc I was using at the time.

anyway......

The Tigers can't go into the game over confident or they could get belted. While young some of the new players are very talanted and with Witt & Thorman in the halves the side will have some direction for the 1st time this year (unless you call running across field direction)

From the side named
Brett Anderson (17), AShley Graham (19), Michael Witt (19), Justin Tsoulos (19), Jack Afamasaga (18) and Feleti Mateo (17) can all still play Flegg.

Chris Thorman (21) is in his 1st year at NRL level after 3 years in the ESL.

I'm expecting a very close game and it wouldn't surpise to see it as a low scoring game aswell.

I'm going for a 22-18 pick the score regardless of the winner

Leichhardt oval could be a pretty intimidating place for the yougsters

But ive got no doubt Parra will come out fired up.

it will be a tough game.

If you guys are fair dinkum, you'd realise this is when we are at our most dangerous - when we've sucked for weeks and desperately need a win.

Maybe we won't get it, but I want to see us at least be competitive.

BTW, Grothe pulled a buttock/thigh; Petersen has a shoulder/leg injury (which is it?); Morris has been dropped due to poor from and attitude (and deservedly so); and Dykes has been dropped to lacklustre form and a very pathetic attitude (he was caught laughing it up at the fact we lost to a mainly Premier League Dragons team).

BTW, it's great to see Hodgo back to his best. And Moods - well, I always liked Moods.

P.S. (Any news on Pat? He was always potentially a great player. Anyone know when he'll be back? Probably next year, eh?)

Pats back in 6 weeks its seems, there abouts. AS for the eels chances, there's no reason they cant win but you do feel that they need to gain some respect again before they start winning. Still it will be close, it always is.

We all have short memories--we dont have a great record, when the bookies send us out as favourites. Its taken a long time to get two in a row.Cant see anything but a win,but that worries me--love to see the eels get belted again-but if the boys are down 10% and the other mob lift--who knows--just the negative vibes comming out again--but on a postive note--hogo and moodie should be pumped, for a big one against the old team
