Gronk we had periods on their line where Hayne almost scored and King try was dissalowed. It could of been 18-12. Halves took no control, no repeat sets etc....
If you cant see that your a fool. We only had the ball for 16mins cause we couldnt get repeat sets, a try etc....Sure the forwards where bad but its the halves job to settle things down and take control. Steer the ship so to speak.

I'm not going to argue over a chicken vs egg scenario. My opinion is that forwards provide momentum and space for halves. You think that even without space, the halves should be able fix things. I don't agree.

BTW I'm not a fool. We just don't agree about something on the internet.

The halves can’t do anything without support players running lines. How many times did our players look for support and see no merkin? They were too busy setting up for the next play, or just sucking in the big ones.

If he's fit he'll be good to go. Most of what he provides is due to his footy sense, strength and fitness. He was never a particularly dynamic runner of the ball.

I'm still not sure I'd expect him to immediately be the player he was just prior to becoming injured.

Yes....

We lost at brookvale. Hindy111 predicted it a week ago. Pou said we where 50/50 chance of losing.

Next week Terepo and KE will come into the team along with Kaysa. They will play with more energy. Eels will win in a brutal game

And there it is. Tries to change his prediction on gameday, then claims to have predicted the result a week ago. If we'd win he'd have claimed to have predicted that too.

Easy to be right when you cover all the options, isn't it? f**king fraud

That’s why I’d put him at centre. French is the most dynamic back in our team. We need to get him into some two-on-two or three-on-three situations. We tried yesterday but never did enough work on the inside to compress the defence.

I couldnt be f**ked reading all this ... can someone summarise it for me?

French is shit
Moses is shit (Tigers fans suggesting)
The fact we spent 30 minutes in the heat whilst Manly were in the cool sheds had nothing to do with us losing
Something to do with Stephen Hawkings
Some woman fainted

How about kick for touch so we get a rest.

Im not fussed by the loss. I can see how 18-0 can become 40-0. Once a team gives up 20 points is nothing. Its easy to score points once team gives up.
I also can see if King or Hayne scored and we stemmed the flow to 18-6 and got to halftime it may of been game on still. The no try sapped us, we gave away a penalty and they scored again. 24-0.
Had we held ball we may of even made it 18-12. Can we win the comp? Yes. Can the sharks? Yes.
Can the tigers or knights? NO CHANCE.

We may not make top 8 while those two teams may, but we still have a side capable of getting it right. If lucks on our side and guys play well we can go a long way. Time will tell.

What f**king good is that if you just drill it 20m? You still need to try and get out of your end.

Or do you reckon they can just put it out at a good distance at will?

We had lots of chances at their line. Plenty. We didnt force any line drop outs did we? Now i blame the halves for that.

I got pumped up game day and backed my team. Logical thinking I backed Manly. Smarter halves, better fullback and hooker. Killer spine. The trib brothers are the best 2 young players in comp imo. Gems. Seem like they have great morals and just two good humans.
