mediocre or not, the wins still look the same on the scoreboard.Cripes if Parramatta were undefeated some would still find something to whinge about.
As I say if you want to see a team that has a realisitic chance of winning the comp, go and jump on the Rooster,Penrith,Canterbury bandwagon.
I know we lost a game we should have won, but like it or not we are not going to win every game

So, you have made a statement here that you dont think Parramatta is a realistic chance of winning the competition (which I agree with).

Yet, you are happy with the way the club is going, the way the team is performing, you are happy with the coaching regime and the current list of players that the club has.

Is that correct??

I think you will find Chipmunk that there are plenty of people who will say yes.
That is really sad.

Your not being a relasit your being a pesimist.

In reality Parra played well tonight. The forwards really muscled up and provided some great go forward. The defence was particualry rock solid. Our downfall was silly offloads and errors and not taking our opportuniteis.

Alex......what the hell is a relasit????

You are being an optimist.

Suity

Sorry Suity I thought even you would be able to interpret a spelling mistake. I was wrong.

What part of my message don't you agree with?

Alex,

I don't agree with the first part of your post but I agree witht the second part.
We didn't play well tonight. We didn't muscle up in the forwards. We didn't provide much GO FORWARD. Our defence WASN'T particularly rcok solid (against a lame attack).

I Do agree though that we had silly ofloads and errors and didn't take our opportunites.
Before last week, Cronula were considered a joke team. So were Manly for that matter.
We have come away with a lucky win and a loss.
If you are happy with mediocre crap......fine.
I'm not.

Suity

Any positives for you tonight Suity?

You guys talk about getting Ricky Stuart, but he's not that great a coach. Stuart wins cause he has Minichello and Hodges and Wing and Fittler. No offence guys, but none of your players with the possible exception of Hindmarsh are on that level. Stuart wouldn't win at Parra with the current talent pool.

True Freak...however we do have talent at our disposal in

- Cayless
- Hindmarsh
- Morris
- Grothe
- Dykes

But we need more & im hopeing the juniors comming through can provide us with a good platform for the future.

I'm gunna off meself if we lose against the fricken Cowboys.

Even though it is a pretty ordinary performance, I dont think things are that bad Maroubra that you need to take that action.

Next week is going to be the last game for the season that I am probably going to be able to watch, so hopefully we will get a win.

I don't see Parramatta being serious title contenders (at this stage, who knows what will happen down the track).

Not totally happy with the results, but all the bitching and moaning here is going to achieve diddly squat.

Despite what some people think the people in the best position to decide on playing talent, are not on this forum

Either way the coach and the players have my support 100% in the good times and bad, instead of people digging the boot in at every chance

Yes Glenn,

The coaching staff etc.... can continue to make crap selections and they will still have my 100 % support as well.

You guys will go alright.
A few positional changes & few more back from the hobbles & you mob will be in or around the 8.

Need a bit more weight on the park, a better fullback & kicker, & dare I say it, a decent centre.

Quite simple, they are in the best position to judge the players. If anyone thinks they are a better judge I am sure Parramatta (or any other NRL club) would love to have your CV on their desk com Tuesday morning.
I am quiet surprised we don't have any NRL coaches here given some people believe they know what team should be selected.

So you could never, ever disagree with any decision made by the Parramatta Rugby League Club??

I never said that,
However they are in the better position to judge, so got to go with the judgements they make, despite what I think is the right/wrong thing to do, in my opinion
