OK Guys and Girls

Theres been enough talk about re-establishing the Parra Army at away games.
Here is the prefect test for us.
Brooky oval 3pm this Sunday. Would be great to see plenty of blue and gold all in the one area.

Start organising now and let this be the start to a great Parramatta tradition!!!!!!
Lets show all the other Footy armys who is number one when it comes to supporter bases!!!

You can hire The Burrow as consultants..... Note: We don;t come cheap! :)

Here's a tip though.... really need to start at home. Get your home ground in order.

The burrow showed you don;t need big flags to make a noise....though they do ad heaps of atmosphere.

how much do you fancy yourself, honestly?

and i disagree. at home games everyone has there own seats, usually season tickets that can't be changed, or are with family.

at away games we are all in the same boat
*at a foreign ground
*not specific seating
*looking for other parra fans so that you aren't alone.

that is the perfect scenario for the formation of an army

yeah it happened to us once and we just told em to shove it.

luckily we get on pretty well with the manly fans (who are actually good blokes and sheilas) and so they backed us up and nothing was done.

don't want to get ahead of anyone here, but for those of you who are considering a trip to brooky this weekend, here's a rough guide of where to head. As you can see its general admission.

(the map comes from ticketek.com :D )

Having opposition "Armies" is always good fun. If you guys do decide to form/re-form then I suggest you sit on the left hand side of the beer shed on the hill, the side closest to the stands. Cause in I think it was round 25 last year @ Brookie the Penrith "beer army" or whatever sat in the Rockers spot on purpose and almost caused several blues. Most of us know that Parra supporters are probably the next best decent fans around apart from Manly fans :D I'm bringing a few myself, but all I ask is that you sit on the left hand side of the shed. Good luck to your team and Manly by 12 :D

I agree with CC Eagle.
We should position ourselves on the left hand side of the beer shed on top of the hill. That way we can Stand and not be in the way of people who can not see through us!
It is also easy access to the bar :D
I sat next to the Manly Army on the weekend against the dogs and they all seem like nice enough folk who enjoy some friendly banter.
Kept in the right spirit it should be very enjoyable.

I agree with CC Eagle too.... Manly are a rough crowd but there were no problems last year.

We weren;t told to sit down at Brooky last year on the hill but I think that was because it had rained heavily the day before and it was a bit of a slip and slide mud pit.

Have fun guys and wish you all the best...and I mean that. It's always good to see opposition supporters getting organised.

Cheers

If those weirdo's in the stupid wigs are the "official fans" of parramatta then well the support of our great team has hit rockbottom!!!.

I doubt they will go to the away games because i am led to believe that they get into home games free. Is this correct? Typical fairweather fans!!! I brought my season ticket as a renewal last season, they should have gotten everyone involved back then because it is a slap in the face to the fans who use their hard earned money to go to games. These "fans" are dismal make no noise, do no chants. I think they are a disgrace to the paying fans.

I agree with Jess the army is much more suitable at away games then home games. Like many I have a season ticket and wish to sit where I have for years at home games.

I'm not so worried if the army is quiet but it would be good to have an abundance of blue and gold gathered in the same part of the ground.

I also agree with Manic in regards to the wigs. Although I like the gathering of colour it makes us look a bit silly and "tri hardy"

What I would like to see at home games due to the restriction of flags is for everyone to bring their Parra scalves and hold them above your head like supporters do in the English Premier League. When done in numbers this looks fantastic! ! !
