not every thread has to turn into a jamie bashing affair either, but that happens often enough ;-)

jack afa looks ALOT better then the last few rookies and he will be awsome, just a matter of keeping him..

he did look good, and he finished the season in Flegg

if he was our rookie of the year, why arn't we treating him like one ?

Pretty simple. Would you rather an emerging player finish six weeks early and get on the grog with the first grade squad or continue his development by playing in the lower grades with a side that, while it finished the regular season in the bottom part of the eight, managed to finish one game short of the Grand Final?

Easy decision if it can continue to help his future development..... but of course they wouldn't think that far ahead surely???

except poor jack ended up rolling his ankle anyway, he'll be off crutches just in time to go back to training

Not a bad looking front row there for next season fellas? ;-)

Good to hear Hindy and Wade got recognition. Vella as clubman? Good to hear he's been busy behind the scenes I guess.

Brendan Oake looked really good in the trials against Wests at the start of the year (the only time I got to see him). Jim Curtis and Joel Reddy sound like they had deserving years as well.
