That's interesting. I wonder who from our 2012 squad we will let go for next year. Last year i thought Ulugia chould turn out to go alright, but he hasn't done much this year.

Three of the Eels most promising young guns still eligible for SG Ball have been plucked from the Club's Toyota Cup side to represent the NSW Under-18s.
Toyota Cup prop Frazer Masinamua (pictured), second rower Kelepi Tanginoa and interchange forward Pauli Pauli are all 17-years-old but have been mainstays of Steve Speechley's 2012 NYC side.

Thats good news, hopefully they keep developing. Haven't seen much of the NYC living up here but really did like what i said of Pauli and Masinamua against Canberra.

Mate, if these three young blokes keep improving over the next couple of years from what they have already shown in the NYC, we have got some keepers!

Was really impressed with Masinamua being a young frontie playing older guys and sticking it to them physically even at the end of the match. Normally they fall away when the score starts to get away.

Yeah, he loves the rough stuff. Hits hard too. Impressive for a 17 yr old.

those 3 kids ARE future first graders.

You're 100% on them?

Who is the best chance of them all?
I'd say Frazer Masi --> he's a bit Danny Nutley-ish, but he's ferocious. Only concern I'd have on him is his size. But he could certainly use it to his advantage?
[he's been tremendous for us so far this year in NYC as a youngster! I've missed a few games, but he is an engine of go forward wherever he plays!!]
He just seems the most physically ready of the 3.

I'm not 100% sold on the other 2 - but I also haven't seen every single NYC game, and Pauli Pauli has been missing too.

Will be watching them in the rep game! Well done lads.
