clearly out muscled by a bigger stronger team but still, some of these kids are very impressive

Pauli Pauli not bad for a 17 year old

it was good attack from both teams, raiders were just big and strong really.
Edrick Lee looks like he could be as good as Greg Inglis in a year or two.

THere is some really good players in the under 20's that are only 17-18

Pauli Pauli is playing well same as Semi Radarada

Yes PP reminds me of a young Blocker Roach. Semi did more quality off loads today that Guru2 did in his entire career. He has great awarness that no doubt comes from his 7's background.

No he wasn't.
It was the clowns inside him.
Our wingers still have the same problem as Guru had.

Not all of it was his fault, we did improve when that turd Finch got punted. But he was terrible turning and chasing a kick and he did come of his wing a lot. But i still remember that intercept against the Dragqueens at Kogragh with pride

But if Semi turns up having even half of Guru Jnr.'s pace, power and offloading skills, we are onto a winner, I reckon.

and he did come of his wing a lot.

And that was my point.
He came in "off his wing a lot" because the clowns inside him weren't doing their job.
A winger should never have to leave his wing if all the attacking players inside are covered properly.
It happened several times today to the Eels.
Again.
We still haven't sorted it. But then we caught out the Raiders wingers several times as well. It doesn't mean they are bad defenders.

interesting side..

* Big Semi in the centres could go alright, he cause the Balmain defence a great deal of headache on the weekend.

* Jon Pepa comes from wenty's bundy cup side straight into the NYC side.

* Ben Fritz is a kid Nolan brought down from Queensland and has been playing for wenty, a good strong runner.

* the old firm is back at 6 and 7

* Kaysa Priytchard at lock????...he's got to be the smallest lock going around.

* not a fan of Jennings in the backrow
