I think you will find that the club do not see NYC as a development suited to NRL

The reason for playing the younger players up is to expose them to playing with more seasoned and hardened pros. The jumps from Holden Cup to NRL is too big, if it wasn't then the Warriors would be in the top 4 evey year.

The club want to expose the younger players as the opportunity arises, think Twal will be able to step up more easily due to playing up this year.

Yeah I don't think the club gives much of a f**k about winning the NYC or ISP. They only see the lower grades as an opportunity to develop players for the NRL.

Yep. Morris is the player I have been kicking the tire on for a while. A smidgen undersized perhaps but he has a lot of the qualities you want in a first grader.

I actually see him as more of a Beau Scott type player. Isn't the biggest but he has a lot of heart and keeps himself in the game. Runs a really nice line and tackles his arse off. Very good edge forward. Hope he's kept on for next year.

Or Watmough. But those two were physically exceptional in other areas - Watmough was very quick and Gallen immensely strong. Both had good lateral movement and huge work rates too.

Morris is listed at 186cm and 103kgs.....so not too bad for a backrower.
