Parramatta Eels Juniors

Good height, we're definitely going after taller players. Interesting you say he'll end up in the back-row. From what I gather we already have a pretty strong starting back-row set for the Harold Matthews next year. Unless he's turning 17 next year and is set to play SG Ball? Which in that case it may make more sense but we still have some handy back-rowers for that age. Some handy centres too.

What makes you believe that he'll end up in the back-row?

The kid is only 15yo currently, so he will play matts next year, great height, very good size, not a lot of kids going around with his height, size, speed 94kg that play centre at 15yo.. He might start in the centres but his player manager believes he will end up in the back row from conversations he had with the club. Whether that's next year or in the future only the club knows. apparently he can be very aggressive in defence which is another great attribute.

We are going excellent in Under 20s.
Our best players in Bevan - Twal havent spent much time there.
Our halves have missed time to.
To finish in top 8 would be great and anything higher then top 6 would bet tremendous especially without Bevan or Twal in the team.

We've seen some players step up, most notably the Field brothers. Won't make first grade and probably won't go past NYC but they play with a lot of heart and rarely make a mistake. Very good effort from the twins.

Those 183m from Tui also came from only 13 runs. Huge stats for a 17 year old on his NYC debut who still has another year of SG ball to go. Interested to see Payne Haas in this game, he's absolutely huge.

You merkins wouldn't say that to 'Khal' Tui's face! :p

Very, very exciting prospect though. Was the best player in a narrow loss for NSW in the Under 16s last year (only outplayed but his fellow Eel and QLDer, Travis Turnbull) and now claims MotM in the 18s playing up a year.

He is on something of a tear at the moment as well, as he claimed MotM honours in his NYC debut against the Titans.

I think he's too short for the wing. Plus he's a bit of a playmaker. I reckon he is likely to remain a specialist centre.

Fair enough.

Never seen him play or know how big he is, but all young backs normally start on the wing for a season or two.

French isn't really a winger either.
