Manlys future is the Trib brothers. I cant hate them while they are there.
Manly play good footy. I would of liked to see another forward or twp added to the squad.
Whatever happend to the highly rated prop who left for Roosters. Dont think ever made first grade. Hed only be about 22 now.

The telegraph must think Snake and Shoulders played for peanuts, I'd estimate we have a $1.7m hole in our salary cap but they report we have no space, also the cap increases this year so unless we're front loaded out the ass i don't understand it, we should be able to nab Pearce and Chrichton (?) Players on multi year contracts would almost never be on the same value each year. Guys like DCE, Walker and the Trbobbas would all be getting upgrades every year.

It's incomprehensible to think that a squad price for the same squad went up when losing 2 top or second tier stars

Depends how much they were on and how much their replacements are on. Players signed prior to the retirement of those two would have been signed with salary cap space planned for by those retirements.

Manly had a spending spree a couple of years ago. That kind of thing is usually paid for with back ended contracts.

Spending spree? Park footballers and Dylan Walker? Our last 2 purchases of note before Walker were Killer and Chris f**king Bailey, everyone else since then has been home grown or poached pre fg debut, other than the numpties

Logan Jones from the mid-north coast, halfback, I've only seen probably 10 minutes of him in total but has been good.

I think we've got some good players from our local district coming through in the 16's next year. I think there's at least 3 returning from this year's 16's.

Then in the 18's we've signed Ulysses Roberts and Jordan Moore again from the mid-north coast. Roberts is the cousin of Inglis.

Singlet wouldn't have been on that much,he only became relevant 3 years ago and surely you wouldn't spend that much on a winger that you've cultivated,but if the tele is to be believed (Which i wouldn't advise) you're getting the Stayne cap drain back in january and Singlet after the yawnion season ends in france

Moses, Norman,Jenko would be on decent amounts.
The rest of our squad would be very balanced. Not as many players on low incomes like Manly but less on star money. Reason why Manly have some big wins and big losses while the Eels are more consistant.
