Yeah still with the club. I believe he's got an injury but unsure of his return. Saw him last week at Ringrose wearing an Eels polo sitting on the bench watching the Flegg team.

He played in the Newcastle trial.

Thanks, mate!

Big fan of his - big unit, with some very soft hands.

He and Niukore are exciting future prospects.

Injured. I suspect he's one of those blokes who looks awesome smashing kids his own age but has massive flaws that will keep him out of first grade.

Yeh but you don't know until they have a serious run against older kids. Some fail, some have the ability to change their game when they actually need to. And some walk off the field and assault kids on the sideline just for fun.

In all seriousness you dont know that. Kikau was simmilar and why he didnt debut till 22. He fixed his flaws. Tepai had less flaws and why he debut younger but maybe not as high a ceiling as some other guys.

Fainga may be a dud but he also might be a game breaker. You are just making shit up based on a handfull of games you have seen. And sure stats say 9/10 guys dont make it so odds are in your favour he wont.
I am hoping he becomes the game breaker we want and falls in the 10%

How am I making shit up? You explained my logic. I’ve seen him play and was impressed but also unimpressed. He’s a good tackler but a poor defender.

I don't know how a bloke who has never played first grade would be regarded as a 'priority signing'. Unless they meant low priority.

One thing iv learnt regarding footy is this.!

Sometimes its not whether your a better player than the others that gets you selected.
It could be a structure thing whereas you suit the coaches team structure better or suit the style in which the coach coaches.
Its only someone's opinion.

Yes we see him more at training day in day out. But the sharks might see something in the kids game that suits there coaches structure or style.

Some coaches put together a team & play to there players individual strengths & build there structure around that.

Other coaches pick players that suit there coaching style that will benefit there team.

Again its only someone's opinion.
