CODY PARRY TRANSFERS TO THE Werris Creek Magpies RLFC
The cat is well out of the bag with the recent Group 4 Rugby League announcement that current Parramatta Eel Cody Parry with be returning to the Magpies for the remainder of the 2023 season.
Parry is linked to the Parramatta Eels SG BALL side that recently collected the major prize in the prestigious NSW junior pathways program.
19-year-old Parry had an injury interrupted season for the Eels but he’s now 100 fit and ready to turn out for the Magpies for the remainder of the of the 2023 season.
The 2023 transfer isn’t the end of his NRL dream for him. Quite the opposite in fact. The transfer facilitated by his management was as opportunity for him to continue for the remainder of the 2023 season in a open age rugby league competition prior to returning to the big league in 2024.
There were certainly several opportunities elsewhere to continue in 2023 but linking with the Magpies was a clear preference for him.
Last linking with the Magpies in 2021 as a junior, he has been selected on the bench for he all important trip to Moree this Saturday night.
Parry will come into a 3 and 0 winning side with a crunch match pending, and probably the hardest match of the season when the Magpies meet Moree Boars on a Saturday night at Moree.

Looks like another who we are developing……….. In Moree lol
SG Ball are still teenagers mate. Cut him some slack. His comp is over. Some Ball players are not physically up to playing up in Flegg. What do you think he should do until next year ?

The real good 19yld are in NRL. Or atleast NSW CUP. Like the talented top 30 spot given to Sam Laizou. Hot talent.

19 and can't make Flegg is a real bad sign.

6 players to be promoted to Flegg. Blaize Talagi most likely to make NRL before the others. We rate him highly, quick and has the right attitude.

Big Bird > Little Birds
He’s a centre??? And I’m holding out to see a Dick and Will Penis combo!!

Agree. I thought he was 17. 19yld and can't make Flegg?
I had a gut feel he would be a good one. Looks like another dud
He was leading SG Ball in tries at the start of the year, but the club has obviously identified him as having no future (or he’s already signed elsewhere). They picked Vaivela and Alameddine over him in the finals. Both are a year younger.
