the richest sport organisation on earth haven't won a championship since 1995.

try again
They are competing against eight of the other fifteen richest organisations in the world, so it’s all relative. The also gain zero benefit from hoarding junior talent (the way soccer clubs do) so they can’t even leverage their money to bypass the salary cap.

Try again.

is it not relative for us? are the more funded clubs in the league really more funded than us? according to the NRL, we had the 5th highest overall commercial revenue in 2023. we have 32,000 members.

why are we talking about soccer and salary caps?

are RL clubs using money to hoard junior talent?

Scuderia Ferrari are the richest F1 team and they haven't won a drivers championship since 2007.

We had the fifth highest revenue of the fifteen teams that aren't Brisbane or Melbourne, so we are roughly mid-tier in the NRL. This reflects our results going back to about 2014. If we only go back to 2019, when the new board took over, we are in the top four or five clubs in the NRL for onfield results. 2024 is the anomaly.
