australia totally dominant to lead 30 nil at half time
now out to 40nil after 34 mins...Ray Stone workmanlike.... our kiwi boys finding it hard to be prominent in such a one sided match...Kiwis don't seem to be remotely in the same class as Aussies

above should have said 40-10
a succession of penalties give nz some possession resulting in another try to visitors...now 40-16 with about 12 to go

match finishes 46-22..a soft try to kiwis at the end but generally seemed to be outclassed. Having said that and with no disrespect intended to Nathan Cayless, the kiwi boys played the first 50 minutes as though they were meeting each other for the first time while the Aussie boys showed far too much pace and ball movement to set up their comfortable win.

Looks like we've got some good kids coming through. Hopefully a few of them turn into NRL quality players or even better down the track.

Fresh batch of representative Eels to come out of today's District Representative grand finals.

NSW U/16s Representatives:

Jed Edwards (Hooker), Tyler Field (Half), David Hollis (Prop) and Sam Hughes (Lock)

NSW U/18s Representatives:

John Paul Nohra (Fullback), Johnny Fonua (Wing/Fullback), Ethan Parry (Wing), Noel Aukafolau (Centre), Haze Dunster (Centre), Valance Harris (Prop), Filia Utoikamanu (EDGE), Oregon Kaufusi (Prop).

Curiously, Tui Afualo was the sole NYC player in our group to miss out on selection.

The National Championship will be played on Saturday at Belmore Oval for anyone that is keen on a trip to the Inner West to see our boys in action.
