Fresh batch of representative Eels to come out of today's District Representative grand finals.

NSW U/16s Representatives:

Jed Edwards (Hooker), Tyler Field (Half), David Hollis (Prop) and Sam Hughes (Lock)

NSW U/18s Representatives:

John Paul Nohra (Fullback), Johnny Fonua (Wing/Fullback), Ethan Parry (Wing), Noel Aukafolau (Centre), Haze Dunster (Centre), Valance Harris (Prop), Filia Utoikamanu (EDGE), Oregon Kaufusi (Prop).

Curiously, Tui Afualo was the sole NYC player in our group to miss out on selection.

The National Championship will be played on Saturday at Belmore Oval for anyone that is keen on a trip to the Inner West to see our boys in action.

Never got to watch jp nohra play since the trials, how did he go????

Is that a sign that he has made the NSW U20 side?

Nohra was a bit quiet in the last two weeks but was sensational for most of the season. Very good player and one that I'm watching with interest over the next couple of years.

Thx mate. I was getting regular updates, but wasn't sure if there was a bit of bias in there. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::joy::joy::joy:

That was one of my first thoughts mate. The U/20s Origin isn't until the third proper Origin game though so that is a fair time away to lock in one of the picks.

Lol, Haze Dunster.
That can't be his real name.

Hardly surprising, when that was around the same time Hagan showed up and all our juniors systems were stuck on the back burner.

It was also the time that we started changing coaches every year so the philosophy on juniors was constantly changing. Interesting that now we've had the same coach for a long period of time that the juniors are also producing better results.
