Looks a pretty big kid. Fieldsy is around 181-183 mark and he's a few cms taller than him. Anyone know what position he plays?

Our junior stocks are looking really healthy at the moment. Our 2015 and 2016 Harold Matthews classes both fought through to the Grand Final undefeated and the 2016 class swept everything including the National Title while the 2016 SG Ball class made it into week 2 of the finals despite a huge age handicap and injuries to several key players.

We now need to take the next step and convert it all into first grade talent. Bevan French is the vanguard of the new system that was put in place a few years back and you can see how highly the club regards certain youngsters given they are pushing for NYC honours in what is shaping up as a Top 4 roster at the age of 17.

Great to see. Getting our junior talent identification and retention right is huge. Now we just need to get our front office healthy with the right people involved and we could finally be back on the road to being a successful club.

And for mine this starts with actually getting the right people onto the PLC Board who don't see it as a way of having their time in the limelight as "footy club directors" and taking the perks as they glory hunt but rather directors of a $100M business.

They then make sure they play only an advisory role in the footy business and recruit a top level PNRL CEO (Bernie Gurr/Shane Richardson level) and an experienced and quality Head of Football. 2 roles that have a day-to-day bearing on the success of our NRL/Reggies/Youth/Jnr Reps/District Junior teams and competitions.

I don't know much about Gurr but have heard a number of times he would be a great CEO, so here's hoping it happens.

It would certainly be a step in the right direction in my opinion. He is a quality administrator and on top of that he has shown interest in the job

We have certainly seemed averse to getting proven NRL CEOs to the club. Or they avoid us like the plague. Coaches too.

He is around the 6'3" maybe a little taller, 94kg fast centre but will end up in the back row

Good height, we're definitely going after taller players. Interesting you say he'll end up in the back-row. From what I gather we already have a pretty strong starting back-row set for the Harold Matthews next year. Unless he's turning 17 next year and is set to play SG Ball? Which in that case it may make more sense but we still have some handy back-rowers for that age. Some handy centres too.

What makes you believe that he'll end up in the back-row?
