Not sure why I would be offended, I agree. Our best dummy half in the 20's was #21.

I just don't want to offend anyone. It was only my opinion.
Who was the 21.?
From what I seen we have plenty of depth all over the park in most positions except dummy half.
Not sure what we will do there.
Its one of the most important positions on the field so its criticle we get it right otherwise it can effect our halves our structure and the tempo of the game

To be fair, our two best dummy halves for Flegg are playing/played SG Ball and ISP this week. Between Mahoney and Schenider we will be pretty sweet at hooker.

I know he had a rough game but in defence of Blaise Barnes that was his first footy in close to two years. He came out of the game with plenty to work on but that is the point of trials. Now the team has game tape to work with and review.

Good vibes about the team in general though. Close knit group with a whole stack of talent.

Do you know why he would leave his mates at Newcastle? Just trying to get out of that chickenshit outfit or would there be other incentives?

All I know is Matt Smith was part of the Knights 2018 SG Ball summer squad and was unfortunately dropped a few weeks ago when they finalised there squads.

Parramatta have benefited from Newcastles failures to recruit, retain and manage players correctly.
I'm sure there have been more but recent players that come to mind are
Jesse Cronin
Kyle Schneider
Harry Duggan
David Hollis
Charlie Murray
Henry Halll

Obviously more opportunity at the Eels. The 'NZ' Knights have plenty of depth in the halfs and really shouldn't be kicking up a stink about young Matt.

I thought Michael Tupou was a standout when he was on... absolute beast in the tomololo mould

What position?

Best part about Dylan Brown is he might be ready by time Moses and Normans contract is up. Means we can retain him and not get caught in a bidding war for the other two.
This is the way to take advantage of junior system. It suckes losing guys but no point developing them if have better options at a young age in first grade under contract. I can see guys like Stone offering value for when Scott retires.

Id prefer not to worry about developing a fullback for a while. Bevan and Gutherson are both young and excellent. A hooker, front row and half is what we want. Sounds like we have that covered so some good years ahead.

The Knights halves are the cream of this years Ball, will be difficult to beat while they are controlling the game. Possibly could both play U18 SOO.

Fair quote.

But lets be honest both struggled playing SG Ball a year young last year.
Defensively is where they both require work. Crossland I have no doubt will be in the u18 Origin team.
Madden on the other hand I'm not as confident
