Jim has impressed me more the year has gone on. I thought when I first saw him that he's just a big body helping us get down the field in attack. But his work in defence is actually quite good. There was a set early in the game today he made 4 tackles in the set and was pushing hard at marker.

The one that hasn't been mentioned is Chris Petrus. He has outstanding tackling technique. Gets underneath the ribs and drives, really good footwork in defence. If he gets a chance in Flegg I could see him going through the grades pretty quickly.

Jim did defend well hopefully we can see him progress to Flegg after the GF.

Petrus has been my smokey this year to making it all the way agree with everything you said about him.

Could see some have a game or 2 in Flegg.. Ryda also is decent. Let's not rush him 😂

He's an interesting one. Couple of games on the wing for Souths HM Cup last year, comes to Parra and he's one of the best performing back rowers in the comp. He could play SG Ball again next year too.

At least Chris seems to have a second name, unlike Jim, Lorenzo, Lachlan, Aiden et al.

And his second name suggests that he likes good French wine.

How many SGB players are likely to make an immidiate transition to Flegg? I reckon you make a decent arguement for about 8-10 players in particular Farrugia, Bamblett, Fletcher, Ryda, Jim and JFL

Timings released for Grand Final Day May 3rd at Leichhardt Oval
10:30 am - Lisa Fiola Cup, CC Roosters vs Eels
12 pm - Harold Matthews Cup, Warriors vs Knights
1:30 pm - Tarsha Gale Cup, Roosters Indigenous Acadamy Vs Eels
3:15 pm - SG Ball, Roosters Vs Eels.
Are all GFs behind a paywall ? IIRC they were not in previous years ? Maybe even the Eels website had a live link ?

Well I'm no professional talent scout but I'd say Kebourian is no chance. Isaac Jim neither. The others look good to my untrained eye.
I think Aiden had his best game of the tournament yesterday, had a really good game.
I think I agree with you!

Jim is a big boy needs to build his engine if he wants to continue to compete in the older age groups.
He and a player in our Tarsha Gale side Tess McWilliams both have the same issue.
They are bigger than all the other players and make an impact, but they are very dynamic, by the 4th tackle in a row they are a few steps behind the pace and can be taken advantage off. Both need to learn how to pace themselves as well as have other players share the load.

I think Tess will play open age football this year but I don't expect it to be NRLW, Issac to play some Flegg.

It's hard as the Flegg team are doing really well at the moment.

I could see some of the forwards ho from Flegg to CUP freeing up spots for th Ball players to move up. Petrus is one I think will make the jump

Don’t know the connection, but there are at least 3 players from the Brothers , Penrith team recruited into the club. Petrus, Bamblett and Carter, think big Isaac Jim is from that club too via Norths reps
