From tryscorer to try saver now for Davis as he puts on the afterburner to hunt down a runaway Sharks winger and force him into touch before grounding the ball.

Eels in again and this time through a lovely worked try down our left edge. Faumui plays into the line and finds an offload to Howlett who then basketballs it over to Cyrus who grabs his double. Conversion from the sideline unsuccessful.

Eels 40 - Sharks 16 with a minute to go.

Nunn apparently is in the top 30 in 27/28

But agree will be tough but I see a few merkins in our squad moved on as well

Koina has it all.
Bamblet is very good
Nunn 2nd stint devastating
Polley looks about 80kgs and kinda small to me for a forward?
Davis is electric and highly skilled but is very skinny
Pritchard best of backs.
Katarac tough also but limited minutes.

Polley looks bigger than last year to me probably 90-95kg.

Nunn just beasts it when he runs a good line from a short pass..

Full time now with SG Ball bagging their second victory of the year 40 - 16 over Cronulla. Seems the half time bake woke them up and class prevails. Koina MoM with Bamblett / Nunn / Davis not fair behind. I thought Stewart was really good for us - hard working & great service.

The funny thing is they were atrocious in 1st half. Otherwise they hit 60.
I was hoping to see Risati and Petrus. Another time.

I think that's the way to do it. If they're good enough, they only need to be on a development contract for a year, then they join the bottom of the top 30 the year after that. If you can stagger them into the dev list, you could have 18 kids rotating through the dev list over three years. But to keep some of them you will need to promise a top 30 spot after that development year, and this is a decision you'd have to make while they're still playing SG Ball. It's risky because you could end up relying on quite a few kids providing NRL depth before they're ready.

Yeah mate they’ve just more gears than the opposition if they hold onto the ball. Also a bit of killer instinct which is a very good sign. Have a ripper of a day @hindy111 dpnt drink too many of those craft beers mate!
