Early penalty for the Knights as Capovilla is ruled to have arrived early on a kick chase and collected his opponent. FFS at least he was challenging for the ball ref!!

Good defence from the boys to turn them away and get the ball back. Pause in play now as it seems Elhazim has tweaked his right ankle. Salter on the field now to replace him.

Oooh some exciting play here as Martin competes on a midfield bomb and comes down with it! He’s able to fling as pass away to Tamati who then flings it to Seuseu but the play ends up breaking down. Knights move back down field and end their set with the kick rolling dead. 7 tackle set to Parra.

Ah so, so close! Massive caries from Bell & Haynes put us right on the line and it looks as a try is looming as Leiatua dummies and ends up over the line.. but is held up! Last play now and a big shift play to our right and Seuseu almost powers his way across but is inches short!!

The Knights show great resolve again to turn us away… and he’s found another penalty for them!! FFS and they’ve made us pay dearly as some weak defence down our right edge sees the Newcastle backrower dance his way over in the corner.
Conversion from the sideline is unsuccessful.

There’s a reason why we get scored out wide against, all games this season the wingers are poor defenders and getting worked over.

Oh and what a reprieve that proves to be as on the ensuing set big Jake Capovilla storms through the defensive line and finds Liam Martin back in support for the try!! Almost a 12pt play there!
Conversion successful.

Oh wow back to back tries here for Parra as they go the length of the field to score through centre Tyler Lama! Most of the damage was done down the other edge with a strong carry & offload from Capovilla results in Leonard Salter let loose down the right wing. Play shifts to the other side and Lama is able to jig his way over.
And Martin has nailed it from the sideline - what a kick!!
