Cash in? Footy clubs already run at a loss. Pumping half a million into a women’s comp will be a guaranteed loss.

If so pretty sure the gale comp is under 18's while the one at the end of the year will be opened aged.

I can't see it succeeding long term. People just don't want to watch women bashing into each other, and by people I mean men and women. It might go alright if it finds a niche but it still has to pay for itself. That said, NRL teams don't seem to pay for themselves either.
