Parramatta should have the goal of having the best WNRL team in the country by the end of 2018 and the best womens football team of any code by 2019.

But the men bowl at the men and the women at the women.

And they used to have a rule of the men hit the ball too hard they lose the runs.
Not when I played it.
Batting pairs were one man and one woman and the bowlers completed their over no matter who was facing.

Ok mate that makes it a little different, I think they changed it where I played because the blokes were absolute hero’s.

I won a mixed comp when I was 14, I was the only male with 7 women.

We won the comp undefeated.

But most of the ladies were state outdoor and indoor players.

Is indoor cricket even still around? what a waste of good industrial/brothel space.
Its ok ... they've started using churches instead

Just saw a clever ad on fox for the GWS Giants womens AFL team.

It goes like this:

Muslim girl in Western Sydney talking about how she told her dad she wants to play AFL football. He initially does not permit says "no three times". Cuts to muslim dad driving in his car explaining why he eventually gave in to let her play AFL, because she really wants to and she is an Aussie girl....to rub it in he has a Parra Eels car seat cover which the ad gives us a little glimpse of to attack at our subliminal thinking that the NRL clubs are these backwards organisations that don't support womens sport. Which of course in western sydney.....we don't.

We have left ourselves open for this sort of attack. It is going to be effective with corporations as well as parents.

The important thing is that we enjoy the game. If for you that means keeping up with the AFL's corporate virtue signalling bullshit then fair enough. For me it's not a factor.

I'd like to see the game of Rugby League maintain its present level of relevance in the Australian sporting landscape and maybe even actually increase its level of relevance by growing.
However, I think the code is a frog swimming around in a saucepan not realising it is slowly getting cooked. Do you not see signs of the frog cooking?
